Summer Workshop

Sadly, we had to cancel our 2024 summer workshop performances due to cast illnesses.

We look forward to sharing more new work in summer 2025!

We Create New Work

UPCOMING

Short plays, full-length, drama, comedy, absurdist, improvised, farce: we go after new stories.

We Seek Unique Spaces

Venues

We perform in museums and transform traditional theatre spaces by bringing the audience onstage.

We Love our Audiences

Experience

From an onstage cup of tea to post-show discussions and snacks, we want our audiences to feel appreciated.

We Like to Explore

About Us

“Here be monsters” is a designation for unexplored territories, for bumping up against the end of what we know.

Thanks for getting GOOD & LOST with us!

See you August 2020…

Randy talks getting GOOD & LOST on South Bridge Street Live

Randy Pollard shares with Ingra Sparkman about the upcoming Here Be Monsters production GOOD & LOST and about what it’s like to be a Monster.

We Loved FRONTERAFEST!

We brought two shorts from last summer’s “FOOD FOR THOUGHT” to Austin for the Hyde Park Theatre’s 26th FronteraFest. JIMMY’S LAST SUPPER by Randy Wachtel and SPINE SOUP by Nina Di Leo were featured on the Short Fringe bill on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

Poseidon says sorry, but there’s no more room under the seas

Five Points Museum of Contemporary Art is an intimate space, and the Friday and Saturday performances of GOOD & LOST are full.

We’re getting GOOD & LOST

Join us August 16 &17 at the Five Points Museum of Contemporary Art in Victoria, TX for an evening of short new works. Reserve your seat today.
